Due to this, flashcards have a larger emphasis. One of my classes though is biology which is very heavy on memorization and concept understanding. Most of my classes are math-based so I'll be doing a lot of practice problems to help me out so the cards in those cases are more so to remember equations or what certain laws mean. While flashcards are a very influential part of studying it's exactly that, just a part. Lastly, for some context, I understand that only using flashcards will not help me do well in classes. Additionally, in one of my classes I have weekly quizzes would Anki be able to accommodate me with that as well, or is that not simply enough time with the default settings.
I have not made any adjustments to timing but am more than willing to make any recommend changes (I am very inexperienced and don't want to mess up something that could help me out). At the default settings, I changed the new card limit from 20 to 40. My only concern is that I am on the quarter system (My classes are 10 weeks long) this usually results in me having midterms come up in 3/4 weeks. So far I seem to have the hang of it, making new cards are very simple and my needs for it are nothing advance. One of the new things I wanted to try this quarter was to use Anki. Users that routinely delete their posts once they receive an answer might be excluded from participating on the sub. Posts that are off-topic will be removed.
